e a atmosfera.
terrestre (TST), particularmente no per{\'{\i}}odo diurno. A

apontada pela literatura e que foi aplicada neste trabalho {\'e}
superf{\'{\i}}cie, inclusive modelo SSiB, tem a mesma
superf{\'{\i}}cie o transporte da quantidade de movimento {\'e}
Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho {\'e} implementar
quatro formula{\c{c}}{\~o}es do Z\$_{Oh}\$dentro do modelo
experimentos. Al{\'e}m disto, a j{\'a} existente superestimativa
24 horas na temperatura do ar a 2 metros, a qual {\'e}

realistically simulate the prognostic Land Surface Temperature
(LST) from the Simplified Simple Biosphere (SSiB) land surface
model coupled to the Atmospheric Gerneral Circulation Model (AGCM)
from the Centro de Previs{\~a}o de Tempo e Estudos
Clim{\'a}ticos/Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais
(MCGA-CPTEC/INPE). The main role of SSiB is to provide the land
surface processes such as energy and water fluxes to the
MCGA-CPTE/INPE, which are of critical importance in the interface
surface-atmosphere. Nevertheless, the SSiB model shows
difficulties when simulating these turbulent fluxes that in turn
affect the energy balance at surface and contribute to forecast
errors in the LST, particularly during the daytime. The
uncertainty in the LST is one of the reasons for discrepancy in
the brightness temperature T\$_{B}\$ used in data assimilation,
given that LST plays a fundamental role in the calculation of
T\$_{B}\$ in the satellite channels sensitive to the surface.
One of the suggested solutions presented in the literature to this
problem and also followed in this work the parameterization of the
thermal roughness length Z\$_{Oh}\$ that in many cases, SSiB
included, has the same formulation as the aerodynamic roughness
length Z\$_{Om}\$ This approach is not the most appropriated
since that in the atmospheric layer that is directly in contact
with the surface, the momentum transport is in part related to the
dragging from rough obstacles, what does not applies to heat
transfer, therefore the transport is made through molecular
diffusivity. Thus, four formulations for Z\$_{Oh}\$ within the
SSiB framework were implemented and then intercompared. The
results confirm that the largest errors in the 24h forecasts for
sensible and latent heat fluxes and LST were performed for the
daytime period for all experiments. Furthermore, a pre-existent
overestimate of the simulated LST for the control run and
amplified by all formulations for was found in addition to an
enhancement of this variable. Although the remote sensedd LST
presents better aaggreementwith respect to the information from
ERA-interm. It was analyzed the impact of the proposed
parameterizations in the weather (24 hours forecat) in the 2
meters that has influence from the sensible heat flux. The results
did not demonstrate indication that there is coherence in the
coupling.",
